The short version
  • Use Wren for real work; don't use it to harm people or break the law.
  • You own your content. A Frame you publish becomes public to anyone with its link.
  • This reference build runs commerce in free placeholder mode — no real charges, ever.
  • Wren can make mistakes. Verify anything important before you rely on it.

A note on this build. Wren is a reference / demo build for cshell's calibration sweep — not a commercial service, and not affiliated with Anthropic. These terms are written to read like the real thing and to describe how a demo like this actually behaves, including that no payments are ever taken.

Accepting these terms

By using Wren, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the product. You must be 18 or older to use Wren (see our Privacy Policy). If you use Wren on behalf of an organization, you're confirming you have the authority to accept these terms for it.

Acceptable use

Use Wren for genuine work — writing, thinking, learning, building. Don't use it to:

  • Break the law, or help anyone else do so.
  • Generate content that harasses, threatens, defames, or endangers real people.
  • Produce sexual content involving minors, or content whose purpose is to exploit or abuse.
  • Build malware, run scams or phishing, or attack the security of any system — including Wren's.
  • Impersonate a person or organization in a way meant to deceive.
  • Scrape, resell, or automate abusive load against the service, or evade fair-use limits.

We may suspend or remove access that violates these rules. Because this is a demo, enforcement is light-touch — but the rules are real.

Tiers & billing

Wren offers a Free tier and paid tiers — Pro ($17/mo), Max (from $100/mo), and Team ($20/seat/mo) — as described on the pricing page. Paid tiers unlock the Grove model, higher limits, and additional features.

This reference build runs commerce in free placeholder mode. Any "upgrade" or "checkout" flow you see uses the platform's placeholder payment gateway. No real charges are ever made, no payment details are collected, and no money changes hands. The prices are shown to represent what a production Wren would cost — nothing on this build will bill you. In a production service, paid plans would renew on the stated cycle until cancelled, and you could cancel anytime to stop future charges.

Your content

You own the content you create with Wren — your prompts, your chats, and the Frames you build. We don't claim ownership of it. We store it to run the product for you, and — as our Privacy Policy states plainly — we do not use it to train models.

You grant us only the narrow permission needed to operate Wren: to store your content, to send your prompts to the hosted model provider so a response can be generated, and to display your content back to you. That's the whole extent of it.

You're responsible for what you put into Wren and what you do with what comes out. Don't submit content you don't have the right to use.

Published Frames

Frames are private to you by default. When you choose to publish a Frame, you create a shareable link — and anyone with that link can view it. A published Frame is effectively public: don't publish anything you want to keep private, and don't publish content that infringes others' rights or breaks the acceptable-use rules above.

You can unpublish a Frame at any time, which retires the link. Deleting a Frame (or your account) unpublishes it. You keep ownership of a published Frame; publishing simply makes it viewable by link.

No warranty — Wren can make mistakes

Wren is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. It's built on AI models that can be confidently wrong. Wren can make mistakes — verify important things before relying on them, especially anything involving health, legal, financial, or safety decisions. Wren is a thinking partner, not a source of authority, and definitely not professional advice.

As a reference build, Wren may be unavailable, reset, or changed without notice. We don't promise uptime, and we don't guarantee that any chat, Project, or Frame will persist.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Wren Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or reliance on any output. Since this is a free demo that never takes payment, any total liability is limited to the amount you paid to use it — which is zero.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; when we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use Wren after a change means you accept the updated terms. Material changes to a real service would come with clearer notice.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules — a placeholder appropriate to this reference build. Any dispute would be handled in the courts located there. Nothing here waives rights that can't be waived under applicable law.
